NZsurv – HP48G+ and GX Land Surveying program for NZ Surveyors.NZsurv is a general purpose program for the HP48G+ and GX calculators. It has been designed to supplement the day-to-day work of surveyors involved in cadastral and engineering surveying in NZ. NZsurv is not a field data recorder. It is particularly applicable to users of older total stations that have no automatic reduction capability.
- NZsurv will only run on HP48G+ or HP48GX models.
- A cut down version, NZsurv Lite is available for HP48G, G+ and GX models. This version does not handle stored coordinates.
- Prices: $300+GST for the full version (HP48G+ and HP48GX) and $50+GST for the cut-down version (NZsurve Lite)
- We have a $25+GST service fee to reload the calculator and return by courier in NZ.
- NZsurv comes with a comprehensive 77 page User Guide.
Features
- Stores all coordinates for use in later calculations (500 points in HP48G+)
- Handles multiple jobs and can handle plane coordinates as well as NZ’s NZGD49 and NZGD2000 TM circuits (+user defined TM circuits)
- Handles traverses by input of whole circle bearings and horizontal distances as per NZ survey practice. Coordinates are adjusted by Bowditch rule.
- Intersection, offset, area and resection calculations
- Very useful missing line and utility calculations
- Consistent data entry method for bearings and distances, with all inputs in HP's DDD.MMSS style. Angles and bearings are displayed with degrees, minutes and seconds notation.
- Configuration menu allows description storage to be turned on and off and control over decimals in bearing and distance displays.
